Lyrup was involved in another one shot game in yesterday`s Division One Women`s pennants but unlike the narrow loss to top side Berri a week earlier on this occasion it defeated second placed Loxton at Loxton 52-51.
Lyrup won only one of the three rinks but the margin of Sharon Nattrass` result against Raelene Reichstein 22-7 was sufficient to clinch the contest overall.
Sharon took over as skipper for the day with Noreen Burns unavailable.

However it was Sue Lloyd`s final bowl that clinched the game for her side.
