The grand finals in all three divisions of Riverland Women`s Pennant Bowls will be decided between the two teams that headed the premiership ladder at the end of the minor round after the elimination finals were held early today.
In Division One Loxton will play minor premier Berri at Barmera, Barmera will meet minor premier Renmark RSL at Loxton in Division Two and in Division Three it is minor premier Renmark to play Berri at Loxton.
That means all of the grand finals contain the same teams as the semi finals playing at the same venues.
In today`s division one elimination final Berri bounced back from it`s second semi final defeat to defeat Renmark 70-41.
For Berri Jan Grosser`s rink defeated Di Beer 32-10, Kerry Treloar won 29-7 over Sandy Schutz and Marg Cooper went down to Jocie Cooper 24-9.
In division two clear cut minor premier Renmark RSL also put it`s shock semi final loss behind it to comfortably beat Waikerie 62-36 winning two rinks and drawing the other.
Meanwhile Berri moved into the grand final in third division with a two rinks to nil win over Moorook.
In other news there are reports that many in the Riverland are still trying to come to grips with the requirements of the gender regulations that are effecting the sport of bowls and that Bowls SA General Manager Mark Easton will be at an open meeting to address the issue at the Berri Bowling club on Thursday 20th February at 6-30pm.
