After pushing Loxton to the limit last week Barmera has a chance to further advance its growing reputation when it travels to Renmark on Friday night to take on the top side.
But at this stage Renmark is a much more formidable foe than Loxton with a very even spread of talent that is blending together splendidly.
Denikah Gartery, Keryn van Dyke, Sonja Modlinski, Sophie Croft, Emily Garrett, Hannah Foody,- the list goes on.
The home side will start a hot favourite but will not be taking a Barmera visitor that has Katie Saville, Cobie Drogemuller, Sue Whitbourne, Mackella Armfield and Alice Kelsh in form lightly.
That brings me to Loxton for its hosting of Berri.
Both sides won last week, Loxton by one goal against Barmera, Berri impressively by three after leading throughout against Waikerie.
That was despite Berri having a few players missing over recent weeks for various reasons and how it goes against the reigning premier will depend on who it has available.
But assuming all are on board I reckon Berri, with Michelle Wenman and Tori Brown a ‘wall’ in defence and Tegan Moldovan, Carolyn Martin and Ebony Hoffmann all playing strongly would be building for this and can win.
But of course Eve Will, Jackie Dahlitz, Alysha Proud, Leah Uren and Sally Wright will be plotting a different result.
Waikerie, also without some key personal has lost that brilliant momentum of a few weeks ago and will be desperate to re enter the winners` circle at home against Loxton North.
Hannah Lehmann, Lauren Oswald, Ashleigh Smith and company are tipped to take the home side to a handy victory but the brilliant EllieThomas along with Hana Learhinan and Erika Sporn will make sure North give plenty of cheek.
