Despite several key players including star Trevor Rigney being out injured Peake scored an upset win over BDT last Saturday coming from 20,27 and 34 points down at the changes to win 11-17 (87) to 11-12 (78). Best players in the startling victory by Peake included Matthew Whitford with 4 goals, consistent Darren Hare and Ricky Piggott while fot BDT Josh Keller, Ben Hooper and Josh Richardson were prominent throughout. The win by Peake put it on equal points with BDT the reigning premier, both on 20 behind minor premier Lameroo on 24.

Karoonda fills fourth spot on 14 points after it defeated Pinnaroo 17-13 (115) to 13-8 (86) on Saturday. Jarred Graetz with 5 goals, Zakk Bullard and Danny Walker starred for the Magpies while Pinnaroo`s best were another consistent contributor Alex Keough, Jaimen Stringer and Stuart Sampson.

In the final game the top side, the Hawks, warmed up in style with a 19-22 (136) to 10-7 (67) win over Murrayville. Murrayville will be left to look back at a season where its best was as good as the rest but its campaign was ambushed by injury to key players. Best in this game for the Hawks were Shaun Walker, Scott Fischer and Haydon Thorpe with Ricky Hunter booting 7 goals.

The first Semi Final between Peake and Karoonda will be a Tintinara this Saturday.

Despite Trevor Rigney`s recent absence from the Peake side he still headed the A Grade goal kicking with 58 ahead of Drew Crane (Murrayville) 42, Luke Hocking in limited displays for Karoonda 40 and Ricky Hunter 38.
