Top teams Renmark and Loxton seem to be on course for another ‘showdown’ in 2014 as they continue to stand above the other four clubs some with unfortunate injuries to key players on top of significant player losses pre season.

Renmark with Amy Martinson and Denika Gartery continuing their outstanding form defeated Waikerie, with Lauren Oswald added to its injury list, 64-44.

Best for Waikerie were the super consistent Hannah Lehmann and Ashleigh Potter.

At Loxton the local derby saw Loxton with Sharona Edwards and Leah Uren starring defeat Loxton North, best served by Marlee George and Ellie Thomas 44-28

Then in the game of the night Berri won 46-47 at Berri against Barmera. Kyla Wade and Kylie Nattrass were named best for the home side while for Barmera, missing the experience of Sue Whitbourne and with a couple of injuries on the night, Cobie Drogemuller and Bronwyn Smith stood out.

Barmera and Berri engaged in some exciting matches in the main junior grades Barmera (Mikayla Wellington, Jesse Gregory) winning 33-30 in the 17A with Berri’s best Marnie Stewart and Christina Constas and also taking out the 15A 41-39.
