Apart from getting only one correct from the tips on the three A grade RFL Football games last Saturday Tipsy went okay but he is looking for a better return this weekend as he chases bonuses that enable him to go back to Premier Sports` BIGGEST STOCK TAKING SALE EVER to grab a few more bargains.

RFL A GRADE FOOTBALL—the return of key players that were immediately into form for Renmark and Waikerie last week turned the competition back on its head  again. No team between Loxton on top and sixth placed Renmark can yet put a mortgage on a place in the finals in 2015.

Those Two teams play at Renmark tomorrow RENMARK AGAINST LOXTON. The Rovers boasted an even spread of players after numerous returns last week and it was encouraging to see names like Trevor Thorpe, Tim Blight and the Bollenhagen`s up in lights. Loxton was considered unlucky to lose last Saturday and its form has not dropped away much alrthough the unavailaility of Ash Montgomery is a concern. Its strength is in its midfield and in a thriller Tipsy reckons it can grab the points in a crucial game.

WAIKERIE AGAINST BERRI—Reid Beeching, Michael Bratton, Ben Venning and co showing some form in a longer list as players come back after injury has made a huge difference to the Magpies. On the other hand the lack of depth in the Berri senior list may be starting to become a factor after its sensational start to 2015. This could be yet another thriller but the Magpies get Tipsy`s nod.

LOXTON NORTH HOSTING BARMERA MONASH.—The pressure remains not only for the two teams but for anyone trying to nominate a winner. Another thriller probably. The Panthers had to dig deep to defeat Berri last week and it is almost like opposing teams have done their homework on its Port Power style run of 2014. This is still a very good side with various players putting their hands up from game to game. Barmera Monash on the other hand has frustrated with it`s inconsistency from game to game, even quarter to quarter. North always seem to be able to find a way to win at home and Tipsy feels nothing will change in this outing.

RFL INDEPENDENT FOOTBALL—a bit easier but one game in particular may supply some answers.

PARINGA AT HOME TO RAMCO—Paringa went from a fortnight`s famine to an absolute feast last week and with the Swans apparently still to get some players returning it may yet be a real title chance. It most certainly would have got a lot of confidence out of last week`s run. Ramco on the other hand already has the ‘Big Improvers’ tag for 2015. Max Baddack kicking bags of goals, the O`Gormans, Daniel Donnelly, Cameron Hawke, Jimmy Kafexholli, Jamie O`Callaghan back , Steve Hefford available? Some questions will be answered between the third a fourth teams and almost certain finalists. Ramco just.

LYRUP PLAYING MOOROOK KINGSTON.—The Lions ooze talent with a number of its stars having the “X” factor and capable of tearing sides apart. 2014 premier Moorook Kingston still possesses many fine players including Matt Morrell, the Butterworths, Kenny Wright, Ben Will and Terry Packer but a slight loss of depth appears to have taken its toll. It is hard to go past the Lions on their home territory.

WUNKAR AGAINST COBDOGLA—The Bulldogs at home should win well with Nathan Brown, Geordie Franks, Harley Bennell, Simon Hucks and Roger Taylor supplying too much firepower for the Cobdogla Eagles. 10-6 last week was one of Cobby`s best scores for the season and an improvement on that could see the result closer than it may appear.

MALLEE FOOTBALL—interest in the double chance and also the fourth spot in the top four.

KAROONDA HOST BDT—Karoonda`s spirit cannot be doubted but long term injury to a number of key players has cut it off at the knees. BDT is no certainty for the double chance–for it an unusual challenge. It should head in that direction with a healthy win in this round.

PINNAROO AT HOME TO MURRAYVILLE—A chance for Pinnaroo to grab fourth spot. The home side will have the bonus of former West Adelaide player Ben Fisher being available for a couple of weeks. Murrayville simply needs to win to stay in touch for the finals. It has been consistently inconsistent but has the players to win. Pinnaroo`s young runners however should give it the edge.

Lameroo at home to Peake. Some questions can be answered here if the best Peake side turns up. Peake knows that BDT is poised to pounce on second spot. You can run through the complete Hawks side and make a case for all team members and that spread of strength makes it a solid favourite. Peake will need huge efforts from Patrick Gabb, Trevor Rigney, Darren Hare and Rick Piggott to score an upset

HOCKEY—what an interesting season. All the weekend’s action is at Glassey Park, Berri and Waikerie on Friday night, Renmark against Loxton on Saturday. In the Women`s A Grade matches Berri is chosen to defeat Waikerie and, here we go again, those rivals Renmark and Loxton will either draw or in a low scoring game there will be a winner by one goal. The presence of Juliett Mallinson or not for Renmark is a factor. Just because it is Renmark`s turn to win Tipsy suggests that way. In the Men`s matches Waikerie is chosen to beat Berri, but just, and Loxton is preferred against Renmark.

TO NETBALL—Renmark  is preferred against Loxton, new glamour side Loxton North to beat Barmera and in a match that could have an effect on a place in the finals Waikerie is tipped to topple Berri.

SOCCER ON SUNDAY will be at Barmera. Barmera should beat Loxton and in a clash between two unsettled sides Renmark is chosen over Berri.
