Riverland was undefeated in winning the State Under 14 Soccer Championship at Barrett Reserve in Adelaide over the long weekend.
Proud coach Jim Fournaros said “it was an unbelievable tournament for the Riverland Under 14`s, Champions of the State”. It was a fantastic team effort with 14 contributors for every match with the opposition unable to defend against nine different goal scorers. It was the combined effort of the entire squad that won the 2015 championship”.

The Under 15`s coached by Greg Perry defeated Adelaide Hills 4-2 in their opening game but while they remained extremely competitive throughout not taking chances in front of goal and depleted by injury they lost to Noarlunga 0-6, Western Border 1-3, Sunraysia 1-2 and Adelaide Hills 0-2. Amongst players prominent were Simon Crouch, Antonio Zahos, Matthew Perry, Antony Bucon, Jack Nelsson, and Richard Mitchell.

Sukhdeep Kahlon and Sammy Hauptman were outstanding and Isaella Zunic played her heart out in goals. Zanna Fournaros showed that she could play at both ends of the ground and finished with 3 goals.
