Barmera Monash  24-23 (167)  defeated  Berri  9-7 (61)
The Roos absolutely dominated at RFL Head quarters and with their long premiership drought ended in 2012 you get the feeling that with ‘the Monkey Off Their Back” they are a more confident and better side this season. Again there did not seem to be a passenger in a ruthless display and the raffle that is their best player list went to Jake Smith, Sam Elliott and Marc Elliott while veteran Robert Price celebrated his 300th game with five goals. Chad Hamilton, Josh Knight and Jake Langdon battled gamely for the Demons.
Loxton North  12-12 (84)  defeated  Loxton  12-7  (79).
Loxton North are making it a habit of leaving it to the last throw of the dice when neighbours Loxton visit Panther Park and it happened again on Saturday with a five point win in a thriller. The Tigers led by 17,11 and 26 points at the intervals but failed to hold off their hosts who are impressing with their never say die attitude in 2012. Ryan Gray continued his superb form for the home side with Josh Nelson and Ryan Proud with four goals were also prominent. For an improving Loxton Nick Uren, Bryce Williams and Leigh Kruger showed the way.
Waikerie 13-17 (95)  defeated  Renmark  8-17  (65).
At Renmark the home side desperately needed a win to stay in contact with the top four and although they matched it with the Magpies for much of the journey poor shooting for goal and the greater depth of the visitors through the likes of Reid Beeching, Steve Braun and Josh Willis with four goals told the story in the end. Waikerie even though it caught the goal kicking bug late in proceedings simply had too many guns for the Rovers who were best served by Shane Walker, Trevor Thorpe and Kane Pedler
