Renmark keeps on making a mockery of its need to rebuild after losing so many players from its 2012 lineup and last Friday night brought Waikerie back to earth with a 45-32 victory. Denikah Gartery and outstanding junior Emily Garrett were named best for Renmark while Waikerie was best served by Hannah Lehmann and Lucy Eldredge.
At Loxton the two local teams fought out a typical encounter between the traditional rivals and Loxton`s 48-31 margin over Loxton North did not tell the true story.
Jackie Dahlitz and Alysha Proud were best for Loxton and Courtney Proud and Hana Learhinan for North.
In the third game Berri with Tori Brown and Michelle Wenman again superb in defence were too good for a nevertheless competitive Barmera 58-39. Sue Whitbourne and Cobie Drogemuller were best for Barmera.
