In Friday night’s A1 Netball matches Renmark followed its season changing victory over trendsetters Loxton North a week before the break for the June long weekend by overcoming the threat from much improved Berri 48-31.
Berri was without gun goal shooter Rachel Gates and struggled to stay with a confident Renmark outfit.
Consistent pair Denika Thorpe and Kerri Turk were outstanding for Renmark while Berri’s best were Amy Henwood and Tori Brown.

In the other game Waikerie pressured Loxton early but the latter gradually assumed control to win by 23 goals, 58-35.
Megan Frost and Sarah Benson played well for Loxton and outstanding young Waikerie sisters Teagan and Connie Griffiths continued to excell at this level.

Looking at A2 Grade the two Loxton teams had a spirited tussle with Black, well served by Sally Wright and Carly Thiele, defeating Gold (Jasmine Drake, Amber George) 45-39. Renmark, with Eva Nikou and Baillie Trenwith playing well, won 41-31 against Berri (Sophie Anderson, Apryl Krollig) and Loxton North (Kara Haslam, Jess Miller) won 49-30 over Barmera (Jenna Selfe, Hannah Spronk).

There were also some close matches in other grades.
In B1 Loxton (Lydia Schwarz, Tamara Mann) won a high scoring clash against Barmera (Bianca Tsorotiotis, Kayla Szabo) 55-52 and in C2 Cobdogla (A Zanetic, R Drewett) beat Renmark (K Dicerbo, E Dowell) 27-25.

In junior grades Loxton North (Jorja Bradley, Ashlee Laverty) won 39-36 against (Renmark Blue (G Nuske, S Esam) in 15B2 Grade and in the closest game of the day reported Barmera (Haylee Mudge, Jordan Collins) won 27-26 against Loxton North (Hannah Gibbs, Chloe Oldman)
in 15C2.
