Barmera United took out the A Grade Men`s Top Four Cup with a 4-1 win over a much improved Loxton on Sunday.
After it trounced Loxton only a few weeks earlier Barmera had to work much harder in this outing but three second half goals from Anthony Ielasi (his second), Kevin and Martin Barber gave the Pelicans the win.
For the Tigers Geordie Franks scored the final goal of the match to give his side some reward for a spirited effort.
The Player of the Match award went to Barmera`s Luke Ireland for his strong play on a wing while others to stand out were Ielasi, the Barbers and Andrew Sarakinis.
For Loxton player - coach Mark Kershaw was again superb in goals and Franks, Spyro Polymiadis and Joe Perre solid in support.
In the Open Women`s final Berri made the perfect end to the season completing the Premiership – Top Four Cup double with a 2-0 win against Renmark.
Staci Pront scored both of the goals for Rangers while the brilliant Marnie Stewart received the Player of the Match trophy.
Barmera and Loxton in the A grade and Berri and Renmark in the Open Women will now take on the Cup finalists from Sunraysia in the Top Four Interstate Cup at Renmark next Sunday.
Meanwhile Renmark Olympic`s Daniel Clark won the A Men`s Best and Fairest Award when the RSA held its annual Presentation Dinner last Saturday night with Josh Tsorotiotis (Barmera) the runner up.
Another Renmark player Elif Sen took out the Open Women`s award ahead of Berri`s Marnie Stewart.
