This Friday night`s matches are the last for the 2013 minor round so it will be very much fine tuning for Renmarl, Loxton, Waikerie and Berri for the finals ahead.
At the same time Loxton North and Barmera on the back of some impressive recent performances will want to show again that the season has been all about progress.
Of special interest this week will be two ‘finals guides’ as out of touch Berri hosts ladder leader Renmark and Loxton is home to Waikerie.
Berri will have to lift and give more support to the likes of Carolyn Martin, Michelle Wenman and Tori Brown if it is to seriously challenge in the knock out first semi final but it will find it difficult to defeat the very even combination that has Renmark a firm premiership favourite. Renmark comfortably.
A few weeks ago Waikerie would have looked a good thing with Hannah Lehmann, Ashleigh Smith, Ashleigh Potter and co really firing but this is finals time and this is when Loxton seems to be at its best. With Eve Will, Jackie Dahlitz and Alysha Proud prominent in another even unit Loxton is chosen in a keen contest.
The two sides without finals action ahead, Loxton North and Barmera, are then to meet at Barmera.
Both teams have had good victories in recent outings and the Ellie Thomas, Hana Learhinan, Erika Sporn and co versus Mackella Armfield, Sue Whitbourne, Cobie Drogemuller and co is a toss up. If it is not a draw Loxton North but not by much.
