The annual Sponsors Evening will follow the racing program.
A number of Riverland cars and bikes will be off to two major events this weekend, the 38th running of the Finke Desert Race in the Northern Territory and the 40th anniversary Sea Lake Mallee Rally in Victoria.
With the Finke event back as a round of the Australian Off Road championship some 100 cars and 450 bikes will tackle the Alice Springs to Finke and return journey with an estimated 12,000 spectators lining the torturous track to cheer them on.
Back to defend their overall title will be 2011-12 Riverland Sportsperson of the Year Renmark`s Brad Gallard and his navigator Scott Modistach in their USA Geiser Bros. Trophy Truck.
Joining them in the Extreme 2WD Class in another Trophy Truck will be Renmark`s Geoff and Liz Roe.
Also glancing through the list of bike entries Riverland riders will include Chad Billett (Morgan), Rohan Irlam (Renmark), Merv Francis and Hayden Wall (Loxton).
Meanwhile other members of the Waikerie / Riverland Off Road Club will be at Sea Lake amongst about 130 cars. Recent rains have apparently left the track in great condition for the Prologue and Dash For Cash on Saturday and the four laps of the famous Lake Tyrrell track in the main event on Sunday.
Amongst the entries are Riverlanders Carl Haby, Lindsay Foster, Aaron Haby and in the Extreme 2WD Class John And David Schultz.
The annual two day event involving the Loxton and Renmark Clubs will be held this weekend but in reverse order to previous years.
