Undefeated top team Border Downs Tintinara strengthened its claim on favouritism for the 2013 A grade premiership on Saturday with an emphatic 48-24 win against second placed Lameroo but the other two matches were much closer.
Karoonda (fifth) had to work overtime to defeat Murrayville (sixth) 38-36 and Peak (fourth) defeated Pinnaroo (third) in another thriller, 61-58.
In B grade Lameroo (top) returned the favour against second placed BDT winning comfortably 56-34 to also remain unbeaten. Murrayville (fourth) won a keen game from Karoonda (fifth) ,54-48 and third ranked Peake beat Pinnaroo 65-22.

But there was an important result in Under 17 when Pinnaroo (fifth) kept its hopes of a place in the top four alive by defeating Peake (fourth) 31-24.
Both teams, along with third placed BDT, now have six points. The top two sides Murrayville and Lameroo both had victories.
