Loxton convincingly won its opening game in the A grade competition last Saturday when it defeated Berri 22-1.
The Loxton effort was very much a team performance but stand outs were Tyler Flood, Haylee Symens and Amy Lidgerwood while for Berri Nick Hocking, Codie Tilbrook and Brooke Matcham did best.
Then on Wednesday night Cobdogla won 7-1 from Berri with its best players Tracy Liddell, Jo Gregory and Jodie Sullivan.
Berri`s best were Naomi Taylor, Nick Hocking and Vikkie Taylor.
In B grade last weekend Loxton (Michelle Bradtke, Dylan Miller, Rachael Symens best) also won easily 12-3 against Berri (Bethany Smith, Sarah Peltz, Austin Karpany) and Cobdogla won on a forfeit from Gerard.
There are unconfirmed reports that Gerard may withdraw both its B and C grade teams from the competition.
In a Wednesday night B grade match Cobdogla beat Renmark 11-5.
Also last weekend Loxton Green (Dylan Miller, Kailey Waechter, Madeline Pumpa) defeated Loxton Blue (Tracey Steicke, Kerri Hopper, Jodie Meredith) 18-17 in a tremendous battle in C grade while Renmark (Roz Hodge, Gemma Letton, Cindy Le) beat Waikerie (Jesse Ebert, Helen Johnson, Adam Weir) 13-10.
Primary grade results included Renmark 21 (Ebony Crocker, Gemma Letton, Lachlan McDonald) defeating Monash 7 (Xabian Martin, Bryce Scott -Johns, Alannah Gorma.
This Saturday at 6pm the RSA will trial its first Men`s competition game.
Any interested males (preferably aged over 16),are welcome at Berri`s Glassey Park to give the game a try.

Also at that time Kris Taylor, Kenny Karpany and Nick Hocking will hold a sausage sizzle as a fund raiser towards their trip to Canberra with the State Under 17 Boys team for the National Championships
