Round two of the 2013/14 Women`s Pennant Bowls season produced some surprises including two drawn matches, Loxton 59-59 against last season`s champion Berri and Lyrup 52 all against Renmark.
In the other game Barmera won its second match for the season 67-51 against Waikerie.
Loxton`s draw against Berri was the biggest surprise as in the season opener it had gone down to Waikerie 52-46. The turn around in form was largely due to Bernie Mattner`s rink defeating Marg Cooper 25-11.

In the Lyrup, Renmark tie Noreen Burns and Ros Smith led their rinks to 16-15 and 22-15 victories over Jocie Cooper and Lois Nitschke respectively but Sylvia Brady evened the ledger with a 22-14 win against Sue Lloyd.
Barmera also won two rinks in accounting for Waikerie with Sheila Lockwood winning 20-17 against Nancy Teasdale and Gloria Burns 30-14 over Barb Taylor.
For Waikerie Judy Strauss accounted for Carol Shugg 20-17.
