Outstanding young Loxton North netballer Courtney Tschirpig has been a regular member of SA junior teams through the age groups and has now been named in the 17 Years and Under team for the second year in a row.
She played as a goal shooter for the team that won the National championship earlier this year and now will be in the side in Canberra in April 2017 when it defends its title—reportably as a defender.
Courtney has already reached Riverland A1 Grade level with her home club, 2016 premier Loxton North.
Her State training will start in Adelaide on Sunday January 15th and will be held each Sunday until it is time to head for Canberra for the Nationals that get underway on Wednesday 24th April.
Courtney is a Premier Sports “Young Gun”.
Another young Riverland netballer will join Courtney at the 17 and Under training.
14 year old Abbey Siviour of Renmark is a member of a Special Development squad that has been invited to work with the 17 Years and Under group once per fortnight in Adelaide right up to April next year.
Abbey is also a “Young Gun”.
Meanwhile Premier Sports’ very first “Young Gun”, former Berri junior Stephanie Sarro, who now plays for Newton Jaguars, has been selected in the SA State 19 and Under squad.
