It was a tough week in the heat as senior basketball players fitted some catch up matches into the program.

In Division 1 Men Barmera with 11points from Dillon Millard and 7 from Mitch Wellington defeated Renmark (Ben Pater 9, K Trancis 6)) 32-26 and Loxton, with 19 from Adam Proud and 9 from Brogan Whitelaw accounted for Barmera 56-36. Dillon Millard again led the Barmera scoring with 9 and J Drefke shot 6.

Renmark with Craig Seekamp scoring 9 points and Daniel Leuders 8 beat Waikerie (Tristan Geehman, A Lean 5) 45-25 and Waikerie (Sebastian Bald 23, Terry Morgan 11) defeated Berri (J Smith 10, Nick Hankin 8) 51-34.

In Division 1 Women Loxton continued its better touch aided by a superb display from Marlee George, 23 points, and 12 feom Sharona Edwards. It won a high standard clash with Barmera 51-43. Annabel O’Dea and Ashlee Wutke each with 10 points starred for the Lakers.

The game between Renmark and Barmera was also a ‘cracker’. Reeni Leuders 11 points and Anita Modlinski 8 were prominent for Renmark in its 35-34 victory. Portia Size 14 points led the Barmera scoring. Renmark brought up double success with a 50-37 win over Waikerie. Abbey Siviour and Reeni Leuders with 20 and 8 points did best for Renmark and Mica Liu 10 and Connie Griffiths 6 stood out for Waikerie. Waikerie (Hannah Lehmann 17, Breanna Seabrook 5) defeated Berri (E Westley6, G Kruger 3) 26-15.

In Division 2 Men Loxton won 40-22 against Waikerie, Renmark 35-32 against Berri and Supercats 43 -43 over Barmera.

Barmera drew with Waikerie Black 32-32, Berri defeated Waikerie White 45-31,  Berri won 54-20 from Renmark, Loxton 40-24 over Steamers and Loxton 38-36 from Supercats in Division 3.

In Division 2 Women Supercats 31 won against Barmera 19, in Division 3 Berri won 59-12 against Waikerie and Renmark 36 beat Supercats 24.

Berri won 28-21 from Barmera and Loxton 37-14 against Waikerie in Division 4.
