In Saturday’s Independent Football results Paringa scored 22 second half goals to defeat Cobdogla 30.12 (192) to 2.2 (14), Lyrup left Sedan Cambrai in its dust after half time to win 20.15 (135) to 6.2 (38), Browns Well 26.17 (173) defeated Wunkar 2.5 (17) and Ramco won 22.17 (149) to Blanchetown Swan Reach 3.2 (20).

At Paringa the Swans blew the Eagles away after the long break with Brodie Roesler again in red hot form and kicking 7 big ones in a best on ground performance and Thomas Frahn, Andrew lloyd and Sam Frahn also playing well. Joel Watson kicked 8 goals. For Cobdogla Marlon Abdulla, Jordan Roissetter and Thomas DeJager were best.

Lyrup kept Sedan Cambrai at bay 7.8 to 4.1 until half time and then the Lions roared into action with Dean Hill finishing with 7 goals and Adrian Abdulla, best on ground, 4. Other good players for Lyrup were Ben Harding, Dean Beer and Aaron Mills. For the Magpies Joel and Jacob Grieger and Scott Starkey were best.

Ramco got back on the winning horse to defeat Blanchetown Swan Reach 22.17 )149) to 3.2 (20). Steve Hefford appeared for the Roosters to boot 5 goals and Andrew Pryor kicked 3 and the best players were listed at Nathan Hart, Blake Watkins, Luke Hart and Dan Donnely. For the BSR Redbacks Kyle Coleman, Andrew Bajszi and Jayden Sheridan were best.
