Tim Branford, a past Berri Golf Club champion,the lowest handicap player at the club and one of the Riverland`s best golfers has left the area to return to Port Lincoln.

Stablefords have again dominated the week of competitions at the club with Glenys Mack on 39 points winning last Wednesday, 1st April, from Brian Martin 37, Neville Wait 35, Lyn Smith 34, Robin Correll 31 and Alan Dand 30.

The next day a Ladies 9 Hole Stableford went to Deidre Fogden on a countback from Judy Curren, on 18 points, followed by Lindy Mudge 15 and Lyn Smith 14.

Easter Saturday`s event again went to Glenys Mack with 43 points followed by Mark Wilksch 39, Cynthia Wait 38, Sue Gore 38, Wayne Thiele 37, Tim Branford, Derek Howes, Shane Renfrey 36, Kelvin LeStrange, I McHugh,Neville Wait 35, Lyn Smith, Les Campbell and Mick Jennings 34. McHugh had a birdie on the 6th and LeStrange did the same on the 16th.

Action did turn to a par competition on Sunday with the winner Darin Rodden, square, Glenys Mack second and Sue Gore third.
