With a common belief that Loxton North is now the team to beat for the 2015 A1 Netball premiership there is one thing for certain. Neither Renmark or Loxton will subscribe to that theory after dominating the competition for more than a decade.

That brings into discussion the matter of the double chance in the finals and in that regard Renmark had an important win over Loxton at Renmark last Friday night 49-37. It was as usual a competitive clash between the two sides with Renmark showing greater depth and having real stars in Reeni Leuders and Kerri Turk. For a Loxton unit that ecomes more ‘new look’ from its 2014 premiership side y the game Leah Uren and promising junior Aimeee Holmes did best.

Berri also had a crucial win in the battle for fourth spot for the finals defeating rival Waikerie 44-29. Noni Ridgway and Rachel Gates were outstanding for Berri and Emma Ziegler and Ashleigh Potter did well for Waikerie.

Meanwhile with regular stars Ellie Thomas and Hana Learhinan leading the way the talented Loxton North side grew in confidence with a 61-24 win against Barmera, best served by Haley Schwertfeger and Annabel O’Dea.

In A2 Grade the two Loxton North teams met with Loxton North 56 too good for White 56-35. 15A player Courtney Tschirpig was best for North along with Kerry Hutchinson and for North White J Armes and S Arnold did best. Renmark (I Burton, A James) beat Loxton (M Loxton, N Hampel)46-33.

To B1 Barmera (B Smith, B Cash) won against Loxton North (L Lange, N Durdin) 54-35 and Loxton (T Mann, D Stasinowsky) 46-25 against Renmark (A Angeletti, S Bruce). In B2 Barmera (J Ahrens, C Johnson) beat Loxton North (V Nobile, A Dorwood) 37-18 and Berri (C Grigg, J Trifonoff) defeated Waikerie (A Lindner, R Doecke) 50-38 and in B3 Loxton North (C Barkway, K Inglis) beatBerri (S Hewitt, J Howe) 50-36.

Barmera (L Eckert, C Hart) drew with Barmera (A Dobbin, G Paximadis) 25 all and Loxton North (A Faehrmann, A Cook) won 60-19 against against Waikerie (S Perry, A Wurst) in C1 and in C2 Loxton North (E Roissetter, C Gray) defeated Barmera (K Curtis, M Arendt) 49-33 and Renmark (A Marshall, L Roberts) beat Monash (N Recchia, J Pahl) 36-31.

Looking at the junior grades there were some keen matches in 17A Grade. Barmera (A Wutke, A Schwertfeger) won 42-38 against Loxton North (J Merkx, S Pfeiler), Waikerie (C Linke, T Fridd) 61-55 in a high scoring clash with Berri (K Kregar, T Walden) and Renmark (J Jaensch,B Trenwith) defeated Loxton (B Phillips, J Drake) 41-29. In 17B Loxton (S Meredith, S Falting) won 33-29 against Renmark (T Brauer, G Schubert) and Berri (T Healy, L Britten) 40-15 over Waikerie (M Twigden, P Collins) and in 17C Loxton (N Rolevink-Young, G Baker) defeated Renmark (R Rohlach, T Matulick) 46-38 and Renmark Blue took the points on a forfeit from Berri.

15A also contained a thrilling contest, Berri 34 defeating Waikerie 33. D Plew and H Stewart were best for Berri and L West and K Brooke for Waikerie. Renmark (M Dicerbo, D Johnson) won 42-29 against Loxton (N Hampel, E Will) and Loxton North (K Wagner, C Tschirpig) 77-31 over Barmera (T Hill W Pampling). In 15B1 Renmark (N Pitman, G Letton) won 42-38 in a close game against Barmera (B Pietrolaj, K Stavrou) and Loxton (H Rowe, I Edwards) 45-17 over Loxton North (T Inglis). 15 B2 had Renmark (T Venables, T Lowe) win against Loxton (K Vowles, C Nitschke)44-28 and Renmark Blue (A Jenke, K O’Neil) 37-23 against Berri (R Ratson, K Jesser).

To 15C1 Barmera (K Tsorotiotis, T Albrecht) won 40 19 from Renmark Blue (D Sullivan, F Evans), Renmark (E Alexandropoulos, L Bright)  59-21 from Loxton ( B Stasinowsky, L Falting) and Berri (D Eleftheriadis, G Kruger) 52-33 against Waikerie (H Gwynne, S Taylor). 15C2 had Renmark (S Briggs, J Boon) win 50-15 from Berri (C Lange, A Verco) and Waikerie 33 defeat Loxton North (E Fogden, H Sanford).
