With a week crammed with matches again in the senior Riverland Basketball competitions Loxton got back on the winning list in the Division One Men’s grade defeating Waikerie 44-33 and Berri 59-28.
Leading the Loxton scoring was Adam Proud with 21 and 26 points and Brogan Whitelaw with 6 and 12 while for Waikerie Mitch White scored 17 and Terry Morgan 8 and for Berri Darren Marner 12.
Barmera (Sam Butterworth 8, Dillon Millard 6) won 33–28 against Berri (Nick Hankin 9, Mark Howie 9) and with 18 points from Craig Seekamp and 10 from Ben Pater Renmark 56 won from Waikerie ( Sam Schiller 14, Mitch White 11).

In Division One Women Loxton with Jackie Dahlitz,15, and Sharona Edwards,14, leading the scoring defeated Waikerie (Alicia Curtis 8, Chloe Linke 5) and Barmera 43 continued its impressive form in accounting for Berri 43-33. Annabel O’Dea 13 and Portia Size 11 topped the Barmera points while Indee Thiele 11 and Pamela Pipinis did likewise for Berri.
Indee Thiele completed a brilliant week with 12 points and Michelle Wenman contributed 10 as Berri played well to tie with Loxton 39 all. Lyn Sweeney 16 points and Jackie Dahlitz 8 did best for Loxton.
Meanwhile title favourite Renmark (Jodi Haynes 10, Anita Modlinski 7) went on its winning way defeating Waikerie (Alicia Curtis 6, Connie Griffiths 5) 37-20.

Looking at other Men’s Grades Allstars won 58-51 in a high scoring affair against Berri and Loxton 43-27 over Barmera in Division 2 and in Division 3 Berri 24 defeated Waikerie 18 and Barmera and Warriors drew 28 all.
In Under 18 Boys Supercats won 75-36 against Barmera and Renmark 42-28 against Berri, in Division One of Under 16 Renmark beat Berri 54-33 and Loxton accounted for Barmera 42-38 and in Division Two Waikerie 43 won against Warriors 39 and Berri defeated Loxton 32-14.

To Division Three Women Barmera 35 won over Renmark 26 and in Division Four Renmark defeated Berri 32-21 and Barmera 30 beat Supercats 13.
Under 18 Girls results were Renmark 41 to Waikerie 27, Loxton 64 to Berri 24 and Barmera 51 to Supercats 31. In Under 16 Division One Barmera and Berri drew on 21 and Loxton 50 defeated Renmark 19. In Division Two Barmera 38 beat Loxton 29 and Berri narrowly defeated Rovers 29-28. Loxton won 25-16 from Barmera and Berri 24-11 against Renmark in Under 12.
