Waikerie`s Hannah Lehmann was named Riverland Netball`s Best and Fairest A1 Player for 2014 at the annual presentation dinner at the Berri Resort Hotel last Saturday night.
Loxton North`s Ellie Thomas finished runner up.
Both players were named amongst the ‘Players Of The Year’ along with Sharona Edwards, Hollie Bullock (Loxton), Sophie Croft, Sonja Modlinski (Renmark), Erika Sporn (Loxton North), Katie Krollig, Ellee Eleftheriadis (Berri),and Sue Whitbourne(Barmera).
Other senior Best and Fairest awards went to Mel Loxton (Loxton) in A2, Rachael Gates (Berri) in A3, Natalie Durdin (Loxton North) in B1, Tracey Whateley (Barmera) in B2, Jess Doughty-Casey (Berri) in B3, Vanessa Noble (Loxton North) in C1, and Sam Westcott(Barmera) in C2.
In Under 17 grades 17A was won by Renmark`s Sophie Croft, 17B by Ashlee Schwertfeger (Barmera) and 17C jointly by Georgia Schubert (Renmark)and Maddie Colbert (Waikerie).
In 15A the winner was Lori Haynes (Renmark), 15B1 Abby Siviour (Renmark), 15B2 Meg Schultz (Loxton North), 15C1 Cassie Waye (Renmark) and 15C2 Carlee Nitschke (Loxton).
Emma Ziegler (Waikerie) receivedthe Best First Year A grade trophy.
